Swansea to get new July bash

Wales is to get a new music festival next summer.

Fflam is to be held at Singleton Park in Swansea, and will run from July 13 to July 15, 2007.

The festival expects to have a capacity of 30,000 people per day, and will feature primarily indie, rock and dance music.

Outlining his plans, Fflam promoter John Curd said: "Our aim is that Fflam will become to Wales what T in the Park is to Scotland.”

Tickets go on sale on December 11, with weekend passes available for £115. Day passes are also available, priced at £40.

Currently no acts have been confirmed for the bash, but names are expected to be announced soon.
