SISTER (FESTIVAL) ACT!
APPLETON have confirmed they are to join the bill at this year's T IN THE PARK festival.

Nicole and Natalie will play the King Tut's Tent on the second day of the event, held at Balado in Perthshire on July 12 and 13.

The appearance is the first festival confirmation this year - and will be their first-ever Scottish date since they became Appleton following previous band All Saints's split in 2001.

The duo join headliners Coldplay and REM[/url] and a host of other acts at the event.

Natalie said: "I'm really excited, it should be a great day. We're looking forward to playing for our fans in the north for the first time."
