KINGS OF CALAMITY!

Drummer Nathan Followill hurts himself at Roskilde...

KINGS OF CALAMITY!

Kings Of Leon have pulled out of a festival in Europe because of an injury to drummer NATHAN FALLOWILL.

The band were playing at the Roskilde over the weekend (July 3) when the drummer slipped and jammed his left wrist. A spokesperson for the band has told NME.COM that a show in Serbia was pulled as a result of the injury.

Nathan will see a doctor today (July 5) to make sure he’s well enough for the group’s forthcoming live commitments.

The band have scheduled gigs at the T In The Park and Oxegen festivals this weekend (July 10-11).

A spokesperson for the band said: "He’s going to see the doctor and hopefully it isn’t too bad. There’s been one gig cancelled but he should be fine for the rest."

The band are using their tour of European festivals to showcase songs from their forthcoming second album ’A-Ha Shake Heartbreak’, which is due later in the year.

The album has just finished being recorded in Los Angeles with producer Ethan Johns.

New tracks include, ’Taper Jean Girl’, ’King Of The Rodeo’, ’Soft’, ’Milk’ and ’Pistol Of Fire’.
