Prodigy get a birthday surprise at V Festival
Liam Howlett gets a birthday treat during an NME.COM interview...
PRODIGY mainman LIAM HOWLETT was presented with a special birthday surprise backstage at the V FESTIVAL in CHELMSFORD.
During an interview with NME.COM Liam’s wife Natalie Appleton strolled up with a white dog and wished him a very happy birthday.
At the same time, former bandmate Leroy made a shock appearance and gave Howlett, Maxim and Keith Flint a big hug.
The band were preparing to close the festival with a homecoming headline set on the Channel 4 stage.
Howlett told NME.COM: “All our friends and family are here so it’s gonna be a good party. It’s all back to mine later after the gig. The V Festivals are good festivals. They’re not as hardcore as Reading and places like that. You can always bring your family along. It’s always a bit more user friendly.”
Maxim added: “As long as the crowd’s there giving it and the sound is banging we’ll be well happy.”
