Reading and Lollapalooza organisers team up for new bash

The Vineland Festival kicks off next year

Reading and Lollapalooza organisers team up for new bash

The people behind the Reading, Leeds and Glastonbury festivals have set up a new bash in north America.

Festival Republic have teamed up with C3 Presents (who set up the Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits festivals) to create the Vineland Music Festival, which will take place in New Jersey between August 8 and 10 next year.

It’s promised that The Vineland Music Festival will be a “weekend of pure unadulterated rock’n’roll pleasure; the signature stamp of Reading and Leeds, Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza”.

The organisers added there will be “a heady mix of the greatest bands in the world, energy charged sets; new rising stars and the freshest acts hitting the stages before the press have had a sniff of them”.

The bash will take place on a site with acres of “lush, green campgrounds”.
