Fields to make low-key live return this week (July 10)
Band warm-up for Latitude with intimate show
Fields will make a low-key live return on Thursday (July 10).
The Anglo-Icelandic band, now slimmed down to a four-piece following the departure of guitarist Jamie Putnam, play the Sonic Cathedral night at The Social in London to warm-up for their appearance at the following weekend's Latitude Festival (July 18-20).
The band have so far spent the year recording their second album in New York, and frontman Nick Peill has described the new material as "quite a different animal to [debut album] 'Everything Last Winter'. Less dense and more optimistic".
The band have also posted demo versions of several new songs, including 'The Worst Love' and 'Sun In Your Eyes', on Myspace.com/fieldsband.
