Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul stars as Tobey, a mechanic and builder of racing cars who is framed for manslaughter by his business partner, former NASCAR driver Dino played by Dominic Cooper.

When Tobey is released from prison two years later, he hatches a plan to take down Dino in the high-octane De Leon race, which is described as “the Super Bowl of underground racing”. “Tobey defies odds at every turn,” the official synopsis teases, “and proves that even in the flashy world of exotic supercars, the underdog can still finish first”.

Rising star Scott Waugh directed from a script by John Gatins (Flight) and George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau0. The film’s supporting cast includes Kid Cudi, Imogen Poots and Michael Keaton. It opens in cinemas on March 14, 2014.
