The Wyld Stallyns could be riding into cinemas once more

Keanu Reeves has revealed that a script for a third Bill And Ted movie is complete.

It is 21 years since he last teamed up with Alex Winter for the second time travel comedy Bill And Ted’s Bogus Journey, but reports that a third outing is in the works now appear to be true.

Reeves told The Independent: “Yeah, we have a script. We’re trying to put it together. It’s a good script too.”

Winter then confirmed Reeves admission, taking to Twitter to say: “Script done? Check. We love it? Check. Green light? Working on it!”

The Bill And Ted movies followed the pair of two metalhead slackers who travelled through time to assemble a collection of famous historical figures to complete their school assignment. It would transpire they were destined to write a song with their band Wyld Stallyns that would save the world. The third film would apparently follow the grown-up pair trying to fulfil that destiny.

The two films sparked two animated series plus a live action TV film with a different cast.
