Actress gives a series of witheringly sarcastic responses to questions about new movie 'Paper Towns'
A memorably uncomfortable interview Cara Delevingne recently gave to a US breakfast show has gone viral.
The model-turned-actress appeared on Good Morning Sacramento live via satellite to promote her new movie Paper Towns, which is based on the best-selling young adult novel of the same name by John Green, author of The Fault In Our Stars. The film was released in the US last Friday and opens in UK cinemas on August 17.
During the interview, Delevingne delivered a series of witheringly sarcastic responses to questions from the show’s perky hosts such as “Did you get a chance to read the book?” and “Are you just exhausted?”.
With the interview becoming increasingly awkward, one of the show’s host told the model/actress that she seemed “a bit irritated”, asking: “Perhaps it’s just us?” After a pained silence, Delevingne replied: “No, I think it’s just you”.
“On that note,” the host responded. “We’ll let you go take a nap.” Watch Delevingne’s full encounter with Good Morning Sacramento below.
