A Deadpool sequel has reportedly been approved, with filming to start this year for a 2018 release.
The first film became the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time after its release in February. Ryan Reynolds played the Marvel superhero in a film filled with bad language, graphic violence and nudity required to take it past the adult only certification.
Deadpool saw Reynolds flanked by a supporting cast that includes Haywire‘s Gina Carano, former Homeland actress Morena Baccarin, Game Of Thrones veteran Ed Skrein and Silicon Valley star TJ Miller.
Now Heroic Hollywood reports that that Ryan Reynolds has completed a deal for its follow-up, with filming allegedly starting later this year for a potential 2018 release. This, however, has not been confirmed through official channels.
The follows a recent report that talks had begun about a Deadpool sequel.
Ryan Reynolds recently revealed that he wants to play Deadpool for the rest of his life.
