Film sees Washington team with director Antoine Fuqua for first time since 'Training Day'
The first trailer for Denzel Washington’s action film The Equalizer has been revealed online. See below to watch now.
The film is inspired by the ’80s TV series of the same name and sees Washington team up with director Antoine Fuqua for the first time since they made the Oscar-winning Training Day in 2001.
The film also stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Melissa Leo and Bill Pullman. The trailer shows Washington’s character McCall, a former black ops commando who faked his death to live a more peaceful life, as he watches young prostitute (Moretz) being attacked. He then decides to come out of retirement to try and save her.
Things soon spiral out of control and the prostitute is kidnapped by the Russian Mafia, leaving vigilante “knight in shining armour” McCall as the only man to save her.
The Equalizer will be released on September 26.
