Drake’s film ‘Please Forgive Me’ is coming soon to Apple Music

Directed by Anthony Mandler, the film is inspired by Drake's chart-topping album 'Views'

Drake‘s upcoming short film ‘Please Forgive Me’ will be released on Apple Music.

The streaming service confirmed in a tweet last night (September 20) that the film inspired by Drake’s chart-topping ‘Views’ album is “coming soon”. A poster confirms that the film is directed by Anthony Mandler, who has worked with the Toronto artist on several of his videos, and scored by Drake’s longtime collaborator Noah “40” Shebib.

Drake said on Instagram last month that the film would arrive on September 30, though this date is not mentioned in Apple Music’s tweet.

Meanwhile, Drake revealed at a gig last Friday (September 16) that he has been working on new music, recording “six, maybe seven new songs”.

He shared the news on stage in Tacoma, Washington, telling the crowd: “I been on this tour and I’ve been recording new music. I’m about like maybe six or seven new songs in. Just getting warmed up. I don’t know where they’re going to end up or what it’s going to be, but I can’t wait to come back to motherfucking Tacoma and play all that shit for you.”

Meanwhile, Kanye West recently confirmed that he and Drake are making a joint album, five years after West and Jay Z’s joint album ‘Watch The Throne’.
