A little show loyalty goes a long way.
Emilia Clarke – who is set to appear in Solo: A Star Wars Story – has weighed in on who she thinks should be casted if Disney decide to make a solo film about Luke Skywalker.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Clarke responded to who should play Luke Skywalker in an ‘origin’ story about the character. “I feel like I have to say Kit Harington,” the actor said at the Los Angeles premiere on Thursday (May 10). “Because I have to, do you know what I mean?”
Clarke name-dropped her Game Of Thrones cast-mate. She could potentially know if Harington has a gap in his schedule coming up like this new algorithm that predicts who will die in season 8 of Thrones.
Emilia Clarke will appear in the the Ron Howard-directed Solo: A Star Wars Story alongside Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han Solo, as well as Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo.
The first reviews for Solo: A Star Wars Story have begun to appear online following last night’s Los Angeles premiere. One described the movie has having a “charming cast, fun action, good jokes, good fan service, but still does its own thing.”
The UK will get to see Solo: A Star Wars Story earlier than many parts of the world, hitting UK cinemas on May 24. It will open a day later in the US on May 25. Full reviews arrive on May 15.
