Third and final trailer for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' receives overwhelmingly positive response
Fans have reacted excitedly to the new Star Wars trailer which premiered earlier this morning.
“Massive urge to go home and watch all the Star Wars one after another after seeing the new trailer today,” one fan tweeted after watching the third and final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Another joked: “Can we please get Bond out of the way before we start thinking about Star Wars? My underpants can’t deal with both.”

The new trailer, which can be seen below, clocks at two minutes and 23 seconds and hints at what fans can expect from the film. Harrison Ford’s Han Solo and Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia both feature in the trailer, though Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker is notably absent.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set for release in the UK on December 17 and in the US a day later. It takes place 30 years after the events of Return Of The Jedi. The film’s script was penned by Abrams, Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt and Star Wars franchise veteran Lawrence Kasdan.
Alongside the returning trio of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, the film’s cast also includes Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow and Andy Serkis. Meanwhile, it has recently emerged that the film will feature a character apparently named after a Beastie Boys album.
