'The Mockingjay Lives' teases epic rebellion action

A first full trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 has been released.

In the latest look titled The Mockingjay Lives Katniss protests, “I never wanted any of this. I never wanted to be in the games. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive…” But President Snow warns, “It’s the things we love most that destroy us.”

The film’s synopsis revealed Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen “will lead the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol” ruled by President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, Katniss must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance.

Directed by Francis Lawrence and based on the novel by Suzanne Collins the first two films have taken almost £1bn at the global box office. Lorde will be curating the music for the next instalment.

Also starring Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Philip Seymour Hoffman in his final role as Plutarch Heavensbee and Julianne Moore as Alma Coin, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 reaches UK cinemas November 20 with Part 2 set to open in November next year.
