James McAvoy will appear in the film as a young Charles Xavier, with his scenes set in 1973. He will be joined by his fellow First Class stars – Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult – while X-Men veterans Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will reprise their roles for the modern day section of the time-travelling sequel.
Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine also has a confirmed role and Halle Berry, Ellen Page and Anna are officially on board too. Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is a brand new addition to the cast and will play the film’s main villain. X-Men: Days Of Future Past is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on July 18, 2014.
