Frank Ocean credited in his debut feature film role

Look out for 'Ships Passing In The Night' in a few years from now.

Frank Ocean has been reportedly cast in his debut role in a feature film. Ocean will star in ‘Ships Passing In The Night’ as ‘Kevin’.

The change to the artist’s IMDB  profile was spotted earlier today and adds a third role to Ocean’s acting credentials alongside the Adult Swim produced, Odd Future starring ‘Loiter Squad’ as well as a voice role on Frank Ocean’s GTAV radio station.

The film will be directed by Korean American filmmaker Michael Kang. The film synopsis reads: “Brad Bang is one of the top male supermodels in the world. Grace Sol is a passionate but fragile actress. Despite their growing, troubled relationship, after a series of rehearsals and one fateful night, Grace falls for Brad, only to realise that despite needing each other, their love is forbidden”.

Not much else is known about the film and Frank’s role. ‘Ships Passing In The Night’ is currently in pre-production so it might be a while before we learn more about the singer’s ‘Kevin’ character.

Meanwhile, Frank Ocean recently mocked Kanye West’s erratic behaviour of late while giving props to comedian Michelle Wolf for her brilliant and unrestrained set at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

The R&B singer is thought to be working on his follow-up to ‘Blonde’ and appeared to hint at new music earlier this year.

Last month (March 19), the @FrankOceanPage account – which has been verified by Facebook – posted a message that linked to a leak site, along with the caption: “plenty of new frank ocean leaks coming soon”.
