The director of the new Jurassic Park movie, Colin Trevorrow, has shared a special holiday message featuring two of the film’s stars: one human, one dinosaur.

The new Jurassic Park movie, titled Jurassic World, is set to open in cinemas on June 12, 2015. It will arrive nearly 14 years after the last instalment in the series, 2001’s Jurassic Park III. The first trailer for Jurassic World was released at the end of November and received an overwhelmingly positive response from fans of the dinosaur franchise.

Parks And Recreation/Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt heads up the film’s cast, flanked by actors including Bryce Dallas Howard, Omar Sy, Ty Simpkins and Judy Greer.

Trevorrow is directing from a script he has co-written, and Steven Spielberg – who directed the first two films in the franchise – is on board as an executive producer. Earlier this year Trevorrow teased the possibility of sequels to Jurassic World, saying: “We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story.”
