Bieber is reportedly playing a footballer
Justin Bieber could be starring in a movie alongside Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and actor/director Clint Eastwood.
Bieber is currently conquering the charts; he’s number one with his Major Lazer collaboration ‘Cold Water’ and number two with his DJ Snake collaboration ‘Let Me Love You’.
According to The Mirror, Bieber is to star in the reboot of the Goal! franchise. The paper states that Bieber’s footballer character will become an overnight sensation and be asked to join the Real Madrid team.
Eastwood is said to be playing Bieber’s grandfather, with Ronaldo playing himself. The paper reports that the filmmakers are lining up David Beckham to feature in the reboot. Beckham appeared in the original Goal! trilogy.
A source allegedly told the paper: “The film is well into the pre-production stages and the hope is that Bieber will sign on in the coming weeks. It is a great opportunity for him and could be one of the biggest films of 2017 if all of his fans and the fans of Ronaldo go to the cinema.”
Justin Bieber has said that he wouldn’t change “much” of his mistakes growing up in public. The singer has stated that his public controversies have helped shape his personality, also denying that his single ‘Sorry’ was his way of apologising for his mstakes.
Bieber told GQ: “People ran with ‘Sorry’ being me apologising with the song. It really had nothing to do with that. It was about a girl.”
