Titanic actress says she can't listen to Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On'
Titanic star Kate Winslet has admitted that Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ makes her want to be sick.
The actress, who starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the 1997 hit film Titantic, says she feels like “throwing up” whenever she hears the once-inescapable theme from the movie.
She told MTV News: “I wish I could say, ‘Oh listen, everybody! It’s the Celine Dion song!’ but don’t. I just sit there, you know, kind of straight-faced with a massive internal eye roll”.
The song has stalked the actress wherever she goes and she explained that whenever she goes into a bar or a restaurant that has a piano, the pianist always plays the song. Winslet joked: “It’s thrilling for people to surprise me with the Celine Dion song.”
The actress returns to the big screen as Rose in the re-release of James Cameron’s multi-award winning epic blockbuster about the doomed vessel. Winslet said that she was happy the film had received the 3D treatment and said it “feels like you’re in it”.
Meanwhile, James Cameron has revealed that he was forced to re-shoot some scenes for the re-launched 3D version of the film, after an astronomer complained to the director that stars were in the wrong place.
