Kiefer Sutherland ‘still hopeful’ for ’24’ movie

The actor wants to play Jack Bauer one more time

Kiefer Sutherland has pledged once more than he is still hopeful that the planned 24 movie will get made.

A script has been completed for the proposed big screen version of the hit terrorist thriller, which ended its run after eight seasons in 2010.

Speaking to DigitalSpy.co.uk Sutherland said that he is still intending to play Jack Bauer one more time. He said: “We have a fantastic script that I’m very excited about. We have phenomenal filmmakers that are interested in working with us, as well.”

The only snag regarding the film getting made looks like being Sutherland’s own schedule on his new drama series Touch. He said: “It’s a question of trying to put that package together in time, for us to do it in the break between when Touch finishes and when we would potentially start again.”

Touch will premiere in the UK on Sky1 on March 20
