Avengers actor also suggests Emma Stone for Jennifer Walters role
Mark Ruffalo has said that if he could cast anyone in the role of She-Hulk, he would choose either Zoe Saldana or Emma Stone.
The actor, who will reprise his role as Hulk in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, was asked about the possibility of seeing the character’s female cousin Jennifer Walters in a future film and, if that were to happen, who he would most like to see in the role.
“Well I think Zoe Saldana would be a great She-Hulk,” Ruffalo said during a Reddit AMA. “It’d be nice to see someone like her join the Avengers. Or someone quiet and demure like Emma Stone would be nice. But it would be up to the powers that be.”
Ruffalo previously said that his role in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be “bigger” and “more complex”. Ruffalo plays Hulk and will reprise the role in the Marvel movie, due for release next summer (2015).
Earlier this year Robert Downey Jr revealed the first on-set image from the movie. The actor will reprise his role as Iron Man in the movie alongside fellow cast members including Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth.
The sequel to the hugely successful 2012 movie The Avengers will open on April 24, 2015 in the UK while US viewers will have to wait seven extra days, when the film opens there on May 1.
