Former child star Mara Wilson has posted a photo from a recent Matilda cast reunion on Facebook. See above to find out what the cast members look like now.
The back row of the picture shows, from left to right: one of the Million Dollar Sticky women; Brian Levinson (who played Michael Wormwood); Pam Ferris (Agatha Trunchbull); Jimmy Karz (Bruce Bogtrotter); Leor Livneh Hackel (Julius Rottwinkle).
Meanwhile, the front row shows, from left to right: Jacqueline Steiger (Amanda Thripp); Rhea Perlman (Mrs Wormwood); Mara Wilson (Matilda); Kiami Davael (Lavender); Sara Magdalin (four-year-old Matilda); Danny DeVito (Mr Wormwood); Embeth Davidtz (Miss Honey).
Released in 1996, Matilda was a big screen adaptation of the much-loved Roald Dahl novel directed by Danny DeVito. Wilson, then nine years old, starred as the film’s super intelligent heroine.
Wilson, who also starred in classic family movies Mrs Doubtfire and Miracle On 34th Street, made her last film appearance in 2000. Now 25, she works as a writer and explains at some length why she gave up acting on her personal website.
