Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio appear in the trailer for Tarantino's new Western.
A new 60-second trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s new movie Django Unchained has been unveiled – you can watch it at the bottom of the page.
The film, Tarantino’s first since 2009’s Inglourious Basterds, is a Western set in the American South during the 1800s. It stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a freed slave who teams up with a bounty hunter, played by Christoph Waltz, in a bid to murder a gang of killers called the Brittle Brothers. If successful, Django will secure his own freedom forever and liberate his enslaved wife.
Kerry Washington appears as Django’s wife, Broomhilda, while Leonardo DiCaprio plays Calvin Candie, the charming but ruthless owner of the plantation where she is enslaved. The cast also includes Jonah Hill and Tarantino regular Samuel L Jackson.
They all appear in the new trailer, which features plenty of gun-toting and some nice one-liners from Foxx and DiCaprio. A previous trailer was unveiled in October (2012) and you can watch it here.
Django Unchained is due for release on December 25 in the US and on January 18, 2013 in the UK.
