The 15-second snippet is a teaser for a new minute-long trailer set to premiere during the Super Bowl this Sunday (February 3). “See all the action game day, February 3,” it says at the end.
Iron Man 3 will be Robert Downey Jr‘s fourth outing as Tony Stark, a billionaire inventor who creates a powered suit of armour and turns himself into a superhero. The actor previously played Stark in 2008’s Iron Man, 2010’s Iron Man 2 and last year’s The Avengers.
In the new film, Stark battles a baddie called The Mandarin, played by Oscar winner Ben Kingsley. Marvel released an official plot synopsis back in October (2012) and it teases: “Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle.”
