New trailer for ‘The Lego Movie’ revealed – watch

'The greatest movie ever assembled' opens in UK cinemas on February 14, 2014

A new trailer for The Lego Movie has been released – scroll down and click to watch.

The clip features a host of characters from the film break character and discuss the actors who will be portraying them, including Lego Batman’s thoughts on Arrested Development actor Will Arnett and Vitruvius the wizard complimenting the “rich voice” of Morgan Freeman. Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks and Parks And Recreation‘s Chris Pratt also feature.

Billed as “the greatest movie ever assembled”, the computer-animated adventure comedy follows an average Lego minifigure called Emmet, played by Pratt, as he’s mistaken for the extraordinary and all-powerful “MasterBuilder”. He’s then sent on a mission to defeat an evil tyrant who’s plotting to destroy the Lego universe by gluing it together – a task for which Emmet is “hopelessly and hilariously underprepared”.

The impressive voice cast also includes Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks and Alison Brie. while Channing Tatum is Lego Superman. The Lego Movie was directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the duo behind Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, with Chris McKay (Robot Pigeon) serving as co-director. It opens in US cinemas on February 7, 2014 and a week later on February 14 in the UK.
