The first trailer for Grace Of Monaco starring Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly has been released via The Guardian. Watch it below.
Kelly made 11 films in the ’50s including the Alfred Hitchcock classics Rear Window and Dial M For Murder before marrying Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956 and devoting herself full time to her duties as a princess. The film is set in the early ’60s and focuses on a crisis in Kelly’s marriage as her husband was locking horns with French president Charles De Gaulle over Monaco’s status as a tax haven.
Tim Roth co-stars as Prince Rainier III and the supporting cast includes Frank Langella, Derek Jacobi, Milo Ventimiglia, Parker Posey and Paz Vega. La Vie En Rose‘s Olivier Dahan directed from a script by British screenwriter Arash Amel.
Grace Of Monaco will open in the US on November 27 before arriving in UK cinemas two days later on November 29.
Grace Kelly died in 1982 at the age of 52 after suffering a stroke while behind the wheel of her car.
