Princes William and Harry ‘slap Benicio Del Toro’s bum’ during ‘Star Wars’ cameo

The force is strong...

The details of Prince William and Harry’s cameo in Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been revealed, and it reportedly sees one of them slapping Benicio Del Toro’s backside.

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that the royal siblings had joined the likes of Gary Barlow and Tom Hardy in filming a secret cameo for the hugely anticipated film after a 2016 set visit to Pinewood Studios.

It’s now claimed that their appearance as Stormtroopers will come in a scene that sees Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) infiltrating a secret base, before one of the brothers gets up close and personal with Del Toro.

“The Princes dressed up in full Stormtrooper gear and filmed a scene in which Rey and Finn infiltrate a secret base”, a source told the Mail on Sunday.

“The rebel characters are in a lift with Benicio Del Toro’s character when a group of Stormtroopers enter – two of them are William and Harry”.

The source added: “One of them, either William or Harry, slaps Benicio’s bottom.

‘The new film is packed with laughs and that scripted scene was supposed to bring the house down. But no one knows if that scene made the final cut.’

The true extent of their cameo will be revealed when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas on Thursday.
It premiered in Los Angeles on Saturday night, and saw director Rian Johnson dedicating it to Carrie Fisher after the actress died last year.
