Jack Black will also appear in the forthcoming comedy film from 'Bad Teacher' director Jake Kasdan
Rob Lowe has joined the cast of forthcoming comedy film Sex Tape.
Cameron Diaz and Jason Segal will star as a couple who make a sex tape in order to spice up their marriage but somehow end up losing the kinky video. Lowe will play the CEO of a toy company, Deadline reports, who accidentally gets his hands on the embarrassing tape which the couple are plotting to steal back.
Bad Teacher director Jake Kasdan is set to helm from a script he co-wrote. The film’s supporting cast will also include Jack Black and Hot Tub Time Machine‘s Rob Corddry.
Meanwhile, it has recently been revealed that Lowe will be leaving US sitcom Parks And Recreation midway through its forthcoming sixth season having played clean-living council bigwig Chris Traeger since the end of season two.
His castmate Rashida Jones, who plays Ann Perkins, is also due to depart Parks And Recreation after the 13th episode of the new season, which is due to air in the US this February. Season six will kick off on US network NBC next Thursday (September 26).
