Actress describes the hacker in question as 'pasty and pervy and weird'
Scarlett Johansson has hit out over the leaking of naked photographs of her.
The actress alerted the FBI earlier this year when private images intended for her then-husband Ryan Reynolds surfaced online. A man was arrested in connection with the incident in October.
Now, appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman, Johansson described the leak of the pictures as “creepy”. She said: “Somebody stole my nudey photos and they were out there for all the world to see. Which was unfortunate really. It was quite shocking, it was extremely creepy.”
Admitting to not being technology-savvy, Johansson described the ordeal of having her email account hacked: “My password was constantly changing for months and months. And I kept thinking, ‘Why is my password changing?'”
The guy was sitting there constantly, every 20 seconds, all pasty and pervy and weird. That’s the creepiest thing really.
Meanwhile, the actress told the current issue of Interview that she does not use social networks: “I don’t have a Facebook or a Twitter account, and I don’t know how I feel about this idea of, ‘Now I’m eating dinner, and I want everyone to know that I’m having dinner at this time’. Or ‘I just mailed a letter and dropped off my kids’. That to me is a very strange phenomenon.
“I can’t think of anything I’d rather do less than have to continuously share details of my everyday life. I’m always surprised that certain actors have Twitter accounts.”
