Get a first look at a deleted scene from ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

The additional footage will be included in the Blu-Ray release of the Rian Johnson-directed film in March

The first footage from the deleted scenes of Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been teased in a new preview video – check out the clip below.

Star Wars fans have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the additional footage to see which scenes were left on the cutting room floor.

With over 20 minutes of deleted scenes set to be included in the Blu-Ray release of The Last Jedi on March 6, a preview of the previously-unreleased footage has now been shown in a new episode of The Star Wars Show.

In the clip, Last Jedi director Rian Johnson is seen discussing the upcoming novelisation of the book with writer Jason Fry, with the former musing: “We talked through some interesting additional scenes from the film [for the novel] – that’s kind of some of the fun stuff you can get into a novel that you can’t always get onto the screen.”

The episode also gives a brief glimpse of one deleted scene, which sees Rey lashing out at Luke Skywalker for tricking her during training.
