Filming on the third and final Wolfpack movie is now underway
Filming has now begun on The Hangover Part III, prompting Warner Bros to release an “official plot description”.
The set-up is described as follows: “This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.”
Director Todd Phillips has previously confirmed that this will be the final film in the record-breaking comedy series, promising a “fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions”.
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Zach Galifianakis will all reprise their roles from the first two films, while boxer Mike Tyson is confirmed for another cameo. Ken Jeong, making his third appearance as Mr Chow, is said to have a “significantly expanded” part.
After sitting out The Hangover Part II, Heather Graham is set to return as Vegas stripper Jade, while Roseanne star John Goodman has a small role as an “antagonist”. The film’s script has been written by Craig Mazin, who also had a hand in the second film.
Released in 2009, The Hangover became the highest-grossing R-rated comedy ever and won a Golden Globe award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. The 2011 sequel, The Hangover Part II, was even more successful at the box office, taking over $580 million (£375 million) worldwide.
