‘The Hangover Part 3’ returning to Las Vegas

The comedy finale will take the gang back to where it all began

The Hangover Part 3 will return to Las Vegas for the saga’s final instalment.

As in the 2009 original, the film will see Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis shoot off the Vegas strip and at the Caesars Palace Casino, according to a report in the Las Vegas Sun

The second movie took the action to Thailand, leading to speculation that the planned finale would take the movie further afield. As well as Vegas, director Todd Phillips apparently plans to shoot scenes in Tijuana and Los Angeles. The film will reportedly centre around the friends attempting to spring Alan (Galifianakis) from a mental institution. Filming will start within weeks ahead of a planned release date of May 20, 2013.

Phillips confirmed recently that The Hangover Part 3 would be the last. He said: “We’re going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions.”

Mike Tyson has also been confirmed as a guest star. Watch a clip from The Hangover Part 2 below.
