Tom Hiddleston explains why his Loki cameo was cut from ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

He was due to appear in the 2015 film, but didn't make the final version

Tom Hiddleston has explained why his Loki cameo was cut from Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

It had been confirmed that the actor would make an appearance in the 2015 film, but upon its release he was no longer included.

In a live Q&A session, Hiddleston has now explained what happened, saying the cameo confused the film’s storyline.

As Screen Rant reports, he said: “As they were testing the film, the initial audiences were like ‘oh Loki is controlling Ultron!’, and Kevin Feige and all the guys at Marvel were like ‘um, no, he’s not’. So they just thought it was confusing.”

Hiddleston will, however, reprise the role in next year’s Thor: Ragnarok, which is filming at the moment. The movie is due to be released into cinemas on November 3, 2017.
