Twilight director confirms ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2’ re-shoot

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart to film additional shots

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 director, Bill Condon, has confirmed that the cast and crew will reconvene in Vancouver in the coming weeks to re-shoot vital scenes.

The director of the final instalment of the Twilight series broke the news to the Twihards – a name given to the fans of the film franchise – on the movie’s Official Facebook.

He wrote:

A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces.

Condon went on to explain to fans that the cast and crew won’t be shooting any new scenes or dialogue, but instead will be working on some technical work. However, he did reveal the film’s main stars will be on set during the re-shoot.

He added: “And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time…”

The director, who helmed the first part of the final instalment, also told excited fans to expect a new trailer out soon and for the first official poster to emerge.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is scheduled for a world-wide release on November 16. Scroll down and click to view the first teaser trailer.
