UK Blu-ray and DVD release date set for ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Up to 60 minutes of extras will be included

A UK Blu-ray and DVD release date for Captain America: Civil War has been set for September 5.

The latest Avengers movie will be released with the former featuring up to 60 minutes of extra bonus footage which includes deleted scenes, the making of and an exploration of the evolution of Iron Man and Captain America.

The release also includes a gag reel of outtakes and a behind the scenes sneak peak of the forthcoming Doctor Strange movie.

Earlier this year, Robert Downey Jr hinted that he could be open to another Iron Man movie.

The star previously ruled out a fourth film, instead viewing the latest Captain America movie, as a “little Iron Man 4”.

He added: “I don’t think it’s on the cards. In a way it’s Cap 3 but for me it’s like my little Iron Man 4 and then it’s back to the thing we all recognise. Everything pulls over to the side of the road when the thunder of an Avengers thing comes through because that’s how it is until it changes. If it changes.”

But in a behind the scenes video on Nightline he later confirmed that: “I feel like I could do one more.”

Meanwhile, production on the forthcoming Spider-Man reboot is continuing.

The latest film in the superhero franchise – Spider-Man: Homecoming – stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and will follow the character in his high school years.

Fans got their first glimpse of Holland’s new, younger Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War.
