Actress was thrown off her horse while riding on the Caribbean island of St Barts
Uma Thurman is recovering from injuries sustained in a horse riding accident.
The Kill Bill actress was reportedly spotted walking into a restaurant in St Barts, the Caribbean island where she is currently on holiday, with less confidence than normal.
Contacted by Page Six, her representative confirmed the actress has been injured, saying: “Uma was in an equestrian accident. She was training on a young thoroughbred who got spooked. She was thrown and broke a few bones.”
Earlier this year Quentin Tarantino revived hopes that he and Thurman could team up for a third Kill Bill movie picking up the story from 2003’s Kill Bill: Volume 1 and 2004’s Kill Bill: Volume 2.
“I’ve been very non-committal about it, and I’m not committing to it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if The Bride made one more appearance before the whole thing is said and done. I’ve been talking to Uma about it just a little bit,” he said in January.
“Some of the stuff that I’ve written and never made it into the movie that maybe I could use and thinking, ‘OK, now, thirteen years later, what would be going on with Sofie Fatale, what would be going on with Elle Driver?'”
