A trailer has been released for the long-awaited sequel to cult film Trainspotting.
Trainspotting 2 will see the original cast of the 1996 movie, including stars Ewan McGregor and Robert Carlyle, reunite with director Danny Boyle.
Ahead of its release, a short trailer has been shared via The Guardian.
The trailer sees character Renton (Ewan McGregor), Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle) standing above a train track while Iggy Pop‘s ‘Lust for Life’ plays in the background.

Author Irvine Welsh recently revealed that the sequel will see his much-loved characters Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud find a “very innovative” way to get involved in the world of pornography.
