Michael Fassbender is snapped filming a levitating scene for the upcoming prequel
X-Men: Days Of Future Past director Bryan Singer has tweeted a photo of a scene involving Magneto.
Singer has been a prolific tweeter while filming the time-travelling sequel, including posting last month (May) a first look picture of James McAvoy’s Professor Charles Xavier in the 1970s, and has uploaded a photo of Michael Fassbender – who plays Magneto – filming what appears to be a scene involving levitation.
Michael Fassbender will appear in the film as a young Magneto, with his scenes set in 1973. He will be joined by his fellow First Class stars – James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult – while X-Men veterans Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will reprise their roles for the modern day section of the time-travelling sequel. Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine also has a confirmed role and Halle Berry, Ellen Page and Anna Paquin are officially on board too.
X-Men: Days Of Future Past is set for release on July 18, 2014.
