'HIGH' TIMES!

Five's penultimate single doesn't look like challenging 'Because I Got High'...

'HIGH' TIMES!

FIVE look set to be this week's highest new entry, although currently look unlikely to knock AFROMAN from the top of the UK singles chart.

According to midweek sales figures published today (October 23), Five's penultimate single, 'Closer To Me', is currently the week's best selling single. However, the track is at Number Seven, and not challenging for the top spot.

Last Sunday (October 21), Afroman's single 'Because I Got High' went straight to the top of the charts.

A chart expert at Virgin Megastore commented: "It's half-term in schools and the singles released last week seem to be selling better than the ones released yesterday."

Other new entries are struggling to compete inside the Top Ten. System Of A Down are currently at Number 12 with 'Chop Suey' and Gabrielle is at Number 14 with 'Don't Need The Sun To Shine'.
