The Flaming Lips expand new album

The Flaming Lips are to release an expanded version of their new album ‘At War With The Mystics’ – featuring their cover of the Queen classic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

The new version will be released in the US on October 24, with the UK edition out on November 6.

The bumper edition, which will be in 5.1 surround sound, features 13 extra tracks, including radio performances and other covers, though the full tracklisting is yet to be confirmed.

The additional DVD includes videos for 'The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song', 'Mr Ambulance Driver' and 'The W.A.N.D.', plus singer Wayne Coyne's recorded graduation speech, which he made for the Classen High School class of 2006. The talk can currently be viewed online via Youtube.com

Meanwhile, the band are set to tour the UK and Ireland later this year, calling at:

Manchester Apollo (6)
Blackpool Empress Ballroom (8)
Birmingham NIA (9)
Glasgow SECC (10)
London Hammersmith Apollo (13/14)
