Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac has said that she's a fan of Beyonce because the singer is "not skanky".

Speaking to the Telegraph, Nicks said that she's a "good role model".

She explained: "Beyoncé's great. She's got her alter ego, but Beyoncé the girl, the woman, is very sweet and nice and polite. She's a good role model. She's not skanky. I'm glad we have her."

In the interview, Nicks also confesses her love for Game Of Thrones, and added that she's written poetry for all of the characters in the fantasy television show. Nicks commented: "I lived in the Twilight world for, gosh, four or five years. But Game Of Thrones is just… heavier. And season three – the brutality is over the top! The dragons are growing, and the characters are all brilliant. I mean, I think of them like they're real people... I've written a bunch of poetry for each of the characters in Game Of Thrones. I'm always looking for that kind of inspiration."

Stevie Nicks recently confirmed that Christine McVie will definitely be joining Fleetwood Mac for a couple of dates on their forthcoming UK tour. Former band member McVie, who retired from the music industry in 1998, will likely be appearing with the band on 'Rumours' track 'Don't Stop', a song she wrote. Nicks told BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour: "She is going to come and do a song on the second two shows. I think it will probably be 'Don't Stop'. I don't know, but she's coming to Ireland to rehearse with us." The second two shows of the tour take place at London's O2 Arena on September 24 and 25.
