Florence And The Machine down fan's vodka during headline T In The Park slot
Florence Welch also wraps herself in the Scottish flag at show
Florence And The Machine packed out T In The Park's Red Bull Bedroom Jam Futures Stage tent this evening (July 11), with singer Florence Welch labelling fans "fucking amazing" during the headline performance.
Fans struggled to get into the tent to at the start of the gig because so many had turned up to see the flame-haired Londoner run through tracks from her debut album 'Lungs'.
During the set the confident singer filled her glass with some vodka taken from an eager fan in the front row. "This isn't piss is it?" she joked before drinking it.
She repeated the trick again later, inviting fans to throw more spirits on stage. When one threw a bottle that landed near her, she picked it up and downed the clear liquid in one, with the crowd laughing and cheering her on.
Performing in a black bat cape and hotpants, Welch delivered an enchanting performance that gave festivalgoers the chance to see why she is so lauded by critics and fans alike.
Before playing 'Howl' she split the audience into two halves to see who shout the loudest.
Next song 'Dog Days Are Over' had the whole tent singing along. The singer responded to fans' enthusiasm by jumping off the stage and climbing the barrier holding back screaming fans.
She later held the Scottish national flag aloft before wrapping herself in it, again garnering wild cheers from the T In The Park crowd.
Ending the set with her customary cover of Candi Staton's 'You Got The Love', which they have retitled 'You've Got The Love', the singer told the audience they had "been absolutely amazing".
