Florence Welch of Florence And The Machine paid tribute to the late Amy Winehouse last night (December 19) at the VH1 Divas concert at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom.

Welch sang a shortened version of Winehouse's single 'Back to Black'. Scroll down to see fan-shot footage of the performance.

Jessie J, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson all also took part in the Divas Celebrate Soul event, reports MTV News.

Nas introduced the show finale and Amy Winehouse tribute, saying:

It didn't matter where she was from or what the colour of her skin was, because Amy Winehouse was my true soul sister.

He went on to say: "I'm here to honour a woman who had enough soul to last a lifetime. I wish she was here tonight, but 'Like Smoke', Amy Winehouse is still in the air lingering around all of us and she'll be here for a long time to come."
