'Baggy' band Flowered Up make live return

Band announce first UK tour in 14 years

London 'baggy' outfit Flowered Up are to go on their first UK tour in 14 years.

The band, who split in 1993, will play five UK shows in October.

The band played a couple of shows in 2005 in London, including Loaded In The Park with Happy Mondays, but this will be their first dates outside the capital since they split.

The line-up will consist of original members Liam Maher (vocals), Joe Maher (guitar), John Tuvey (drums) Simon Gannon (keyboards) and new boy George Den (bass).

The dates are:

Brighton Concorde 2 (October 22)
Glasgow King Tuts (24)
Manchester Club Academy (25)
Birmingham Academy 2 (26)
London Islington Academy (30)


Tickets go onsale on Monday (July 30).
