Band offer to swap t-shirts with presidential hopeful

Foals have lent their endorsement to US Democrat presidential hopeful Barack Obama, who is campaigning against Hillary Clinton to be the candidate for the next US presidential election.

In a MySpace bulletin, keyboardist Edwin Congreave indicated his band’s support for the senator and joked that they might send him a Foals T-shirt.

“If anyone is reading this from Florida, California, or New York, or indeed all the other states voting today in the democratic primaries, please do us all a favour and vote for Obama,” he wrote. “Foals are definitely for Obama.

“Everyone should be for Obama. he's great. Isn't he just great? We're thinking of sending him one of our T-shirts to wear. We'd wear his T-shirts if he sent us some. Obama? Obama? Can you hear me, Obama? We'd like some T-shirts.”

They can support who they want, the fact remains that the Foals have terrible, terrible hair-cuts.

yeah and that completely negates the fact that they are just about the most promising new band around (and that was before all of the NME hype) and are extremely intelligent, well informed men. Yeah right.
