Foals call Glastonbury crowd 'mythical'

Math-rockers draw thousands to the Other Stage

Foals played the Other Stage at Glastonbury this evening (July 27), attracting such a sizeable audience the band were taken aback.

Before performing single 'Cassius', frontman Yannis Philippakis told the crowd: "Wow, there's so many of you. From up here it looks mythical."

Rain briefly lashed down and Yannis declared: "We haven't brought any wellies. Bad move."

Leaving to one of the best receptions of the day, Yannis said: "You've made this very special for us. Thank you."

Foals played:

'XXXX'
'French Open'
'Cassius'
'Olympic Airways'
'Balloons'
'Heavy Water'
'2 Step'
'Hummer'
'Red Socks Pugie'
'Mathletics'
'Electric Bloom'
