Foals will play three UK headline shows in April to preview material from their forthcoming second album.
The band are currently working on the follow-up to 2008's 'Antidotes'.
The Oxford band will play the following shows:
Coventry Casbah (April 7)
Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (8)
Brighton Concorde 2 (10)
Writing on the band's MySpace blog at Myspace.com/foals, keyboard player Edwin Congreave promised that fans would hear fresh material at the shows.
"We will be playing some new songs," he wrote. "Highly energetic excellent good time party vibes. Of course. If we didn't it'd be a fucking disgrace."
Following the shows Foals will play support dates for Bloc Party at the London Olympia venue, on April 11 and 12.
Tickets for the Foals headline dates go on sale tomorrow (February 20) at 10am (GMT).
