Foals are on course to have a Number One album with 'Holy Fire' currently outselling its nearest competition.

The album is the Oxford band's third effort and features the tracks 'My Number' and 'Inhaler'. According to the Official Midweek Update, the album is currently outselling the Les Miserables soundtrack by 7,000 copies and is also in front of the albums by Jake Bugg, Emeli Sande and the deluxe edition re-release of Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours'.

Other new albums this week include Top 40 entries for Bullet For My Valentine, Richard Thompson, Emilia Mitiku, Modestep, Tegan and Sara and Ocean Colour Scene. Bullet For My Valentine are currently at Number Six with their latest album 'Temper Temper'.

Meanwhile, it looks like Macklemore's reign at the top of the Singles Chart is set come to an end after just one week with his track 'Thrift Store' being outsold by Avicii and Nicky Romero's 'I Could Be The One'.

Other new entries in Top 40 this week according to the midweek update come from Gabrielle Aplin, Bruno Mars, Pink, Drake and Justin Timberlake. Canadian producer Baauer, meanwhile, is feeling the benefit of his 'Harlem Shake' track being at the centre of a new online meme involving fans dancing to the high energy song and posting the videos on YouTube with 'Harlem Shake' sitting at Number 22.
