Foals add extra dates to February UK tour 'due to incredible demand' - ticket details

Band will now play second shows in London, Manchester and Dublin

Foals have added three extra dates to their UK and Ireland tour next February (2014) to meet "incredible demand".

The band will now play second shows in London, Manchester and Dublin, taking the total number of dates on the tour from six to nine. Meanwhile, their Glasgow show has been upgraded from the city's Barrowlands venue to the larger O2 Academy.

Tickets for the tour, which begins on February 4, 2014 in Dublin, went on sale earlier today (August 30) and at the time of writing, approximately 12 hours later, four of the nine dates have already sold out.

Foals delivered well-received sets on the Main Stage at Reading Festival last Saturday (August 24) and then at Leeds on Sunday (25). The band have gigs booked across Australia, New Zealand and continental Europe this autumn (2013) before they begin their UK and Ireland headline tour in February.

Foals will play:

Dublin Olympia (February 4, 5)
Manchester Apollo (7, 8)
Glasgow 02 Academy (9)
Birmingham O2 Academy (11)
Newcastle O2 Academy (12)
London Alexandra Palace (14, 15)
